Our Sober Living Program
Designed for individuals committed to long-term recovery, our program provides a structured, supportive environment that bridges the gap between treatment and independent living. We offer a safe haven where residents can cultivate accountability and build a sustainable foundation for a clean and purposeful life.

Chapter Sober Living is committed to aligning its policies and practices with recognized Washington recovery-residence quality standards.
Important Distinction
Chapter Sober Living provides recovery housing and peer-based support. We are not a detoxification facility or licensed clinical treatment provider. Residents who need withdrawal management, medical stabilization, or a higher level of behavioral healthcare will be connected with an appropriate provider.
Important Medication Statement
Chapter Sober Living supports the appropriate use of legally prescribed medications, including medications for mental health, physical health, and substance use disorders. Medication needs will be discussed confidentially during the intake process.
Understanding Recovering Housing
Washington defines a recovery residence as a home-like environment that promotes healthy recovery from substance use disorder through peer recovery support. State-recognized recovery residences emphasize peer involvement, recovery support, healthy community participation, and an environment free from alcohol and illicit drugs.

A
supportive home.
Clear expectations.
Foundation for what comes next.
Length of Stay
Recovery does not follow a single timeline. Length of stay is based on continued eligibility, personal progress, financial responsibility, and compliance with house expectations.
Connection & Support
Residents live alongside others who are committed to recovery. Shared experiences, peer connection, and community involvement help residents build supportive relationships and a sense of belonging.
Structure & Accountability
Clear routines and consistent expectations help create stability. Residents follow established guidelines regarding curfew, house meetings, chores, visitors, overnight passes, and substance screening.
A Thoughtful Start
Our intake process helps determine whether Chapter Sober Living is the right fit for each prospective resident. Before move-in, residents review the house expectations, financial responsibilities, and available recovery support.
